My name is Scott Young, a few years ago I was trying to create a unique present for my daughter. I found information on making Native American Style wood flutes by Don and Dave Rivaldo. A perfect fit, as my daughter is an accomplished flutist. So I ordered the info and created my first flute. I enjoyed the process so much I now find myself hooked on making wood flutes.
I am constantly researching different flute making techniques, providing many hours of challenging flute making. Great information is available online from Don Rivaldo, Raymond Redfeather, Tony Sawyer, Sunny Heartley, Spirit Man, Erik the Flutemaker, Keith Stanford and many others! I owe a great deal of gratitude to them for sharing their techniques.
